Need a hand with something?

The gruppetto riders are all keen to help each other out. This might involve sharing information on routes (not only those to enjoy, but also those to avoid due to traffic), offering help with mechanical issues, sharing car and bike-rack space with those who don't have one, the other or both, and even exchanging recipes (usually Italian or Slovenian) for those much-needed slow-release carbs. 

Of course, living a two-wheeled life isn't always easy in terms of keeping the steed in tip-top mechanical shape: some things can be fixed on the road and others at home , but some might need a bit more technical skill. That's when it's time to call on our neighbours at Bicimarket in Calle de Mota del Cuervo.  Drop by, mention the gruppetto and allow the mechanics to get you back onto the roads and tracks.

¿Hace falta un poco de ayuda?

A todos los rodadores del gruppetto les gusta tener la oportunidad de echar una mano a los demás. La ayuda podría tratarse de compartir información sobre las rutas (no solo las que se disfrutan mucho, sino las que se deberían evitar por motivos de tráfico), ofrecer ayuda con problemas mecánicos, compartir el coche y  la baca bici con los que no tienen, e incluso intercambiar algunas recetas (suelen ser italianas o eslovenas) para alimentarse con los carbohidratos de liberación lenta tan importantes.

Por supuesto, vivir la vida sobre dos ruedas no siempre es un camino de rosas en términos de mantener la bici en estado optimo: se pueden arreglar algunos problemas en la carretera y otros en casa, pero de vez en cuando hace falta un poco más de destreza técnica.
